Eye contact

Posted by
L'explorateur (Vancouver, Canada) on 27 December 2010 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

With a small boat, we neared the coralline barrier that surrounds Moorea island (close to Tahiti). There the water was one-meter deep, with white fine sand on the bottom. Crystal clear water. And lots of stingrays! This one in particular was leaning on me. Their skin is super smooth and feels like velvet. An unforgettable experience!
